Description
Introduced in 1955, Chevrolet's new 'Task Force' series of trucks was quite a departure from their existing line of pickups. Smooth, rounded sheet metal replaced the old-style fenders, and large, wrap-around windshield glass offered better visibility and a more contemporary look. 1957 began the third year for Task Force pickups and received a distinctive new grille that would be a one-year feature only!
This example received a full frame-off restoration and was done well. The 3100 is finished in a Burnt Copper Orange and is guaranteed to stand out in a crowd. The truck sits on black wheels with chrome center caps, has shaved door handles, and the bed was done with Oakwood and was hand finished with a five-coat clear coat which really rounds out the look of this beautiful Chevrolet. Powering this vehicle is a 350 V8 which is paired with an R3 transmission.
